Nicole Shanahan was picked by RFK Jr as a running mate on March 26th.
She was born in Placer County, California, to Chinese immigrant and American parents in 1985. Inspite of her tough blue collar background, Nicole managed to excel in her education, also overcome many obstacles. She secured an athletic scholarship to attend high school in Berkeley, from where she transitioned to the University of Puget Sound, studying Asian Studies, Economics and Mandarin Chinese. She further attended law school at Santa Clara University, where she was also an exchange student at the National University of Singapore.
Nicole Shanahan is an attorney and tech entrepreneur, she established organizations ClearAccessIP, also the Bia-Echo Foundation. She has many other achievements and awards, like CALI Excellence For The Future Award, Santa Clara law school’s Young Alumini Rising Star Award. She is also a fellow at Stanford Law School’s Code X.
Nicole Shanahan will be a good partner for the RFK Jr ticket, she is a fellow attorney. She shares his concerns about the middle class, environment, public fitness, healthcare and honest governance. Moreover, she brings her youthful exuberance and tech background to help usher in much needed innovations to government in the 21st century. Election victory will make her the second youngest vice president in history, behind John Breckinridge. Due to her tech relationships and Silicon Valley background, she will know how best the government can transition with rapid technology also how to best utilise Artificial Intelligence.
